A friend decided to throw a 60th birthday bash for everyone in her life who turned 60 this year and she asked all of us to submit fun facts about themselves for a quiz. These are my ten fun facts:
I lived in Japan from ages 3-5 and my favorite food was sushi
I once lived in a house with 18 cats (they were’t mine!)
I once won a championship ribbon in a dressage competition
My high school choir sang at Disneyland
My mother knew Bob Dylan in college (he was dating her roommate, although he was Bobby Zimmerman at the time)
I once raised a baby raccoon
My first crib was a cardboard box
I was terrible at all sports as a kid, but I was determined and willing to put up with some pain, so I always beat whatever was the best time for hanging in there with the flex arm hang.
I memorized the entire Robin Williams album, Reality, What a Concept when I was a kid and I used to walk around pretending to greet “the postman” in my attempt to imitate Robin Williams imitating Mr. Rogers. Then I’d laugh at myself, even though, at the time, I had no idea why that was funny.
