Sita Romero

Before finding her way to writing full time, Sita Romero spent fifteen years in women’s health, teaching childbirth classes and attending hundreds of births. Her writing has been published both online and in print literary journals and anthologies.

Now, Sita teaches academic writing at a local community college, where she serves as the faculty advisor for the student creative arts journal. She is a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte’s MFA program and a member of Women’s Fiction Writers Association and Science Fiction Writers of America.

Sita lives in Virginia with her husband, three children, two dogs, and over two hundred fifty board games. When she’s not writing or editing, she’s playing board games, drinking tea, and working yarn into shawls and blankets.
