Catherine Tucker grew up in the small town of Leland, Mississippi. For amusement, she read the dictionary from cover to cover. But she later discovered a better escape: fiction.  As a teenager, she fell in love with all things mystery and never looked back. Catherine’s imagination was nurtured by the Delta’s vast cotton fields, soulful blues, and deep-rooted traditions, which influence her books.

When Catherine is not writing, you can find her reading a thriller or binge watching a mystery series. She also enjoys traveling, teaching Bible classes, devouring decadent chocolate, and savoring a steaming cup of coffee. Catherine currently resides in Houston, Texas.
