Death of a Jester

Death of a Jester

“This is going to sound crazy, but there was a clown back there trying to lure a kid into the woods.”

Police can’t decide if the creepy clown sightings plaguing Grambling, Georgia, pose a real threat or are elaborate hoaxes. When a young homeless boy is lured away from Tent City, the townspeople react with both horror and generosity.

Reporter Branigan Powers enlists Tent City resident Malachi Ezekiel Martin to help, since he is a possible witness. But Malachi is not the man she remembers. Haunted by memories of another little boy during Desert Storm, he struggles to remain sober.

As the hours pass, both the police and reporters fear the worst. The community is rocked again when a murder occurs.

Can Branigan persuade Malachi to help her before the little boy is harmed and the wrong person is convicted of murder?
