Copy Editing Certification

 

Anyone can start a website and open an editing business. This is great for people who have the skills to proofread. However, how will potential clients know you have those skills?

We offer a copy editing test to allow you to obtain a Red Adept Proofreading Certification.

Should you pass the test, you will receive a Red Adept Copy Editing Certification badge to display on your website.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your website will also be listed on our Certified Copy Editors page.

The test consists of two parts. The first part tests for basic & advanced grammar skills (verb tense issues, dangling participles, vague antecedents, etc.). The second part is an editing aptitude test in which you will edit a short story or chapter of a book.
